"When I am at the beach skimboarding I channel all my focus into what I'm doing at that exact moment. It is my form of meditation." - Clifford Wenger

Skimboarding is an exciting water-sport, similar to its cousins wakeboarding, surfing, and kiteboarding.

Skimboarding involves using a small, thin board in the shallow waters by the shore. It doesn't involve paddling, or riding waves. Instead, you just get a running start, throw your board, and take off.

Despite the shallow water, skimboarding is still in some respects an extreme sport. You can still do tricks, you can still get a great workout, and (unfortunately) you can still get hurt.

If you're looking for a new sport to try out the next time you go to the beach, consider giving skimboarding a go!
